Joe Evert - Founder
Joe Evert's career in the automotive industry started in high school; two periods of auto shop and an afternoon job wrenching and "learning the ropes" at a local repair shop fueled his passion for all things automotive. Seeing that electronics would play a paramount role in almost every aspect of the automobile, he focused his efforts in obtaining the training and education in electronics engineering. After high school he attended college in Sacramento, California and earned his degree in Electronics Engineering in 1988. In 1993 he launched Evert Automotive Technology Inc., an automotive diagnostic center in Elk Grove, California which was sold to a key employee in 1997. The company still enjoys success today. As a proficient software developer he successfully developed and licensed an artificial intelligence application to diagnose automobiles to an internet start up company. He has also been an automotive technical instructor for companies such as SPx Corporation, Snap-On Tools and Allen Test Products.  In 1998 he joined Python Injection as director of engineering and successfully launched and developed the Venom Performance Brand and several key performance products that were successfully patented.  In 2003 he joined Gale Banks Engineering as Manager of Electronics Engineering and was promoted to Engineering Manager in 2004. Joe left Banks and relocated to beautiful Bozeman, Montana in 2005 to pursue his goal of launching a premium performance products company. As such, VENOVUS Engineering was born.

Evert has held ASE certifications as and is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
